[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this mature bald eagle while taking a walk by a river. The bird of prey was overlooking the water checking the run of sea trout (Steelhead).

There was no possibilities of changing his mind, he was ignoring all the people using the trail as if he was alone in this world of sea food.

I love these birds, we have quite a good population here in the Columbia River Gorge. Sometimes I see them on my way to & from work "fishing" like your bird. They are very impressive birds.

Nice focus to show the feather details and the "look". This is one bird I want to spend more time trying to photograph.

good bird nice sharp i like it

Hello Jack

Nice shot. Well exposed. Good details. Thanks.

An excellent capture of this always impressive bird, Jack! For good composition, the subject should be a less centered though, and a bit of post work with Levels would brighten it a bit too. I have done a workshop for you to illustrate. :o)

Very good.
Thank you beaucoup, Jack.
Sorry, I have no time today to write complete comments.
Very well done. Well deserved icon.

Nice to see you back brother!

Nice shot with good focus and perfect exposure. Excellent details in shadows as well as in highlights. Diagonal ortientation of the branch brings some dynamism in the image and I like his head position and the bristling feathers.
Excellent shot for your come back and keep showing more like this.

Your little brother.

J'aime bien le point de vue et le regard de l'aigle. L'image parait nette. Le ciel uniforme, même s'il y a des branches fait un bon fond neutre. J'aimerais bien voir de ces oiseaux ici. Bravo pour cette image.

Hi Jack,
Great shot, this is an awesome bird. Great Pov. TFS
