It's another example of picture taken durong a cloudy and rainy day. Always the same question : to use the flash or not to use? It means great DOF but black or so BG versus limited POF but realistic colours. I choose the second one.
Hope you like it.

Very beautiful odonata Emmanuel!
Wonderful blue colour!
Very good on details!
Very good DOF and POV!
Excellent BG!

I think where possible, the second option is always the best, but sometimes you don't have a choice.
This is an excellent image, pin sharp with superb details. More than enough DOF and the POV is very good. Well done.

This is as perfect as perfect can be, Emmanuel. The DOF is truly magnificent and the colours are natural and rich. The POV too is the best one can think of -- a diagonal placement of the lon-bodied subject.

Very nice and clear detail of the damselfly with excellent sharpness and colors. TFS

I think you went for the best option. You've captured some really beautiful detail and colour here. An excellent shot, well done!

p.s. Can't believe this only has 10 points! Deserves a lot more but you don't always get what you deserve it seems.

Brilliantly captured damselfly again, Emmanuel. Composition quintessentially cncentrated, excellent details, delicious colour contrasts of soft greens and bright blues, and a perfectly soft background. Your pictures definitely show a very distinct style. Delightful. Best regards,
