Hello Jaap, very nice looking butterfly, very colourful too. The composition is good too. The wings are very well in focus and my only nit would be that the body and head a re just slipping out a little. Very well done.

Dag Jaap,
In deze materie heb ik u het meest leren warderen, Vlinders. Dit is uw grootte specialiteit en deze is daar een bewijs van. Ik weet het niet maar met uw 350D zullen ze vermoedelijk nog iets scherper worden dan met dit toestel, we moeten later ze eens met elkaar gaan vergelijken.
Ik vind het wel een beetje jammer dat mijn vrouw het niet ziet zitten om eens samen de vlindertuin te bezoeken, maar ja u weet Jaap het leven is nu eenmaal geven en krijgen.
Maar ik probeer deze zomer absoluut macro's te maken, en zoals ik u ken zullen er wel kritieken gegeven woren.
Ik kom ooit op deze site terug maar dan liefst zonder punten te krijgen alleen kritieken.

I can't describe the beauty of this swallowtail in words! The colors are bright and natural and composition and POV look very good! The photo is pretty sharp and with great DOF! Very nice framing! Outstanding job! TFS!

j'ai choisit ce cliché pour la qualité des couleurs et la forme des ailes du papillon.
bien que le BG comporte un peu de bruit je le trouve tres beau.
mes deux point vont lui faire passer le cap des cent points,bravo.

I saw this in your catologue and it really struck me. Great details and really a wondeful macro. I like the DoF a lot. I would suggest trimming just a bit from the bottom, though.
