WILD FLOWERS AT SACH PASS
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I intend to return to this location in the Himalayas for one reason alone: I have never seen an entire mountainside at 12000 feet covered with such a mind boggling variety of wild flowers ever before!|
The variety was so wide it would have taken me days to cover even a fraction of it with my camera. Unfortunately, I had only limited time at my disposal during my first visit. It was late afternoon by the time I reached there and the weather was deteriorating so fast I had to make a quick getaway.
This blue flower was bigger than the rest, but it has not turned out to be as good as I wanted. Still, here it is.
I am not familiar with its name and botanical attributes.

Very pretty, Ram. It looks like a member of the Penstemon family. We have a number of varieties in NA too.

Hi Ram, I too would love to see these hills of flowers. Have you a photo showing the hillside that you can show us?
Beautiful colours here, yes I can agree with Shelley, it could be a Penstemon. I have grown them at home.
What a beautiful colors of these wildflowers. I like the composition you've created. good DOF and light.
