Wild flower found on the way from Lijiang to Yulong Snow Mt. But I don't know its name.
Spiranthes sinensis
GENERAL APPEARANCE: A slender orchid to, 30 cm tall, with several grass-like leaves near the base and a spiralling flower spike, to 8 cm long, with up to 40 small, pink and white flowers.
LEAVES: In a loose basal tuft, linear to narrowly oblanceolate, to 10 cm x 13 mm, hairless, flat or slightly channelled. Stem bracts 3-5, linear to 3 cm long, stem-clasping.
FLOWERS: Pink and white (rarely all white), to 8 mm wide. Sepals 3, narrow-triangular, to 5 mm long, deep pink. Petals 2, similar to sepals. Labellum oblong, to 8 x 6 mm, arched downwards, white, covered with minute glistening, fleshy hairs, margins minutely lobed and wrinkled. (Jan Feb Mar Apr Dec)
ENVIRONMENT: Wet sites, often near streams, swamps and billabongs.
