[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Driving one day outside of Moremi National Park in the Okavango Delta, we saw a flock of vultures sitting in a tree. We detoured from the road into the bush to see what was going on (Normally, off-roading isn't allowed, but since we were actually just outside the national park, it was ok). We saw this lioness with an impala for lunch. Our guide explained that she could not have caught this by herself, it must have been stolen. The lioness dragged the body off into the bushes out of view.

Soon after,we found a cheetah family licking the blood off each other from their lost kill.

The image has been cropped to get rid of a bit of extra grass above and to the left.

Wendy, Good action shot.
If you wish more feed-back, you must write critiques on other photographers' pictures... That is worth, you know.
Thanks

Beautiful capture of nature's process.

I love bloody moments, specially when I am not the victim ... This is a definite keeper, true safari momentum !

This happens quit often that cheetahs draw the short straw. Very well done.

Thanks for posting
