Sorry for the overexposure around the neck.
It is my first try with my new teleconvertor nikon 1.7X. I'm not totaly satisfy with the result.
Tech info:
I shoot with a nikon 300mm f/4 + 1.7X convertor.
On monopod
Expos : -0.7

Shot in raw, convert to tiff with nikon capture.
In photoshop, crop, sharpness and noise reducing with neat image.

hi sebastien,
great idea, good shot! :-)
but as you say yourself it is not yet perfect.
besides the little OE on the neck,
the featherstructure is quite soft and blurred
and the water is not so clear either.
i´ve been trying this, too, and it´s not so easy,
so keep on and don´t stop shooting,

Hi Sebastian,
What was your ISO on this? Remember, it's much easier to correct slight under-exposure than OE. Also, You probably needed a bit more s-speed to get this one sharp..IMHO :)
