[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The photo is taken a few seconds after the end of the full eclipse stage (see http://www.treknature.com/gallery/Middle_East/Turkey/photo48128.htm). The corona of the sun forms a ring arround the moon and the projecting segment of the reappearing sun is shining like a brilliant. That's why the fenomenon is called "the diamond ring".

This fenomenon happened on the 29th of March, 2006 and was visible from Antalia in Turkey.

The image has not undergone other changes exept cropping.
