Another picture from our Sunday walk in Botanic Garden. Day was very sunny and hot, many insects woke up. Bees were one of the first among them. Look at legs of this small worker - full of fresh pollen. Honey is on the way ;-)

Plants depend on the work of pollinators for survival, one of the world's most vital processes linking both plants and animals. Pollinators may include several different orders of insects including Hymenoptera (bees, ants, wasps), Lepidoptera (butterflies and moths), Coleoptera (beetles), and Diptera (flies), and also many different animal species including primarily bats and hummingbirds. The interactive process of pollination involves a pollinator gathering nectar produced by colorful flowering plants that attract the pollinator's attention. While the pollinator is landing on the flower gathering nectar, it is unknowingly transferring pollen from the stamen (male part of the plant) to the pistil (female part of the plant) assuring reproduction. Reproduction in plants may occur as self-pollination or cross-pollination within the species.

Bright, solar and gentle golden picture. The bee has very funny turned out. Good work.

Hi Greg,
just perfect, the colours are wonderful and bring me into good mood. I also made shots of bees in crocus last weekend, one of them is laying on the backside. I think the insects are also happy of the sunny days now.
Thanks for this pretty shot, I love it
