Colourful insects enjoying spring!
I like your composition, it is well balanced and with good focal points... DOF spot on!

A good photo for using a +3 diopter filter. Very clear and crisp photo. These must either be poisonous to other insects or the red is a warning of possible ill taste.

Nice colours and detail. The red of the bug is very nice.

but just one observation: the ID of Ph.apterus is not correct i'm sure that i don't have to tell you that "apterus" meaning "wing less" and the wing s are clearly visible. also i don't know the real ID i'm not a heteropterous man.

Last year we spent spring in your amazing country - Romania. And this year I miss those time...
It must be great to see spring in your country.
This looks excellent! The colors are very vivd, and detail is very sharp. Flash exposure appears to be spot on. Great work!

I call them Buggs. But they make a nice colourful picture here. Artistic Buggs now I think. Well done.

This is superb close-up captured, really congratulations.
Everything is ok; focus, colours, details, POV and DOF.
Very good work my friend!
Very nice photo but it's not Pyrrhocoris apterus. To me it looks similar to Lygaeus species but I tell you more when I find it in my books.

Excellent macro! Very well composition, nice colours and good details, great capture of interesting moment!
Very well done and thanks for sharing!
I see your nice shot of the bugs belatedly, I was looking for all shots of Pyrrhocoris on TN. Your pic is well focussed on the head, well done, all the details are there and they are "active" if only copulating.
But it is not Pyrrhocoris apterus of the family Pyrrhocoridae, but clearly a species of Pentatomidae that I had not seen before. In my book, Eurydema ventrale qualifies exactly. Eurydema is 8-12 mm long, of Mediterranean distribution, occurs in humid places. This species definitely makes your picture even more interesting! I hope you manage to confirm my proposition.
