[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A Panthera leo or better known as a white lion.

Did not know that a white lion is total different from an albino lion. An albino lion cant breed and their eye-colors are also different.

The white lion has got blue eyes and the albino lion's eyes are pink. The blue eyes of the white lion is because of a result of a recessive gene.

Took this at The Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve. This lion was kept in the Animal Creche. And happened to bite me twice!

hi recato,
what a great composition!this baby lion is beautiful!i liked the colours, POV, and your explanatory notes.i wish the focus hadn't been soft.i'm not sure how the image would be if the top was cropped until the lion's ears.
thanks for sharing.
P.S. i've run out of my smileys today :( so i cannot give any but i won't forget to smiley this beautiful picture tomorrow.

Hi Recato, this is a lovely shot of a lion cub,but i do feel that it would have been better if you had cropped this down just before the cubs ears.I find the fence distracting.Done a workshop for you. Hope that you dont mind.
