This little bird nests on the rock on the white water, often near waterfalls.
This picture has been taken from a boat in Uganda near Murchison Falls on the Nile River.

Hi Andrea,
Nice symmetry in this capture. Good exposure with the feather detail handled well n the closest bird. I guess given your shooting platform it must have been a difficult shot to get. Have you got hold of your D200 yet?

They look as if they may have had a slight disagreement! ;) Well taken, just a suggestion but consider reducing shadows by about 10-20%, this would bring out more of the feather detail.

Happy Easter Andrea,
Very colorful birds, they seem born with no eyes as they are so dark--not your image. The birds that we have here in the Northwest that live and feed in the rivers and streams are all dark gray and black. I saw one too far away for a photo this past Wednesday.
