(I have just the time to post a last one before leaving Montreal.)

Friday: 2006-04-14. +5C. Shone upon with some decorative clouds. Light wind from South-west.

5:30 am: I leave the house. Waiting in subway I feel to thank those who wrote critics/comments on my last posts. There are jewels amoung them. I cant return the elevator but I am not sorry for it. Those who read my notes know why.

6:16: They are here. The sun is not high enough for photographs. Also I do nothing but observe them. The play-ground of the kids is larger now. Several marmots gave up their den in the neighbourhoods, so kids can easily hide themseves if necessary. They feel safe when Lucy is present. There is one of them who has passed very close to me while running after his/her brother/sister. I dont want to become a member of the family. They are not my pets. They are accustomed to my presence. They are curious and I adore the glances that they launch me. I love them as they are: wild animals.

6:48: Lucy leaves and kids go back to den.

7:19: Two kids leave the den in spite of the absence of Lucy. The photographer in me is very happy: excellent light and good postures of the two fellows.
I think that it is a good thing that I leave for some time. Kids will be older next time I'll see them.

Thank you for looking and for reading my little story. I will keep in touch with my friend as soon as possible. I built a new compartment in my heart reserved for them.

Merry Easter for those who believe in resurrection and a great weekend to the others!

Hi Luc
This fluffy one is learning well how to pose for you. Hope they will remember you with fondness when you return.
Your photo is excellent as always and you utilised your opportunity well to capture this guy on his own. He really blends well with his surroundings and you portrait that well in the shot. Well done on all the other technical aspects as well and TFS.

Regards
Loot
PS. Although your father doesn’t know me, or I don't know him, please give him a warm regard from me and the other Trekkies.

Hi Luc

I have been unwell for the last 36 hours with a very bad migraine due to my neck being out. I surfaced yesterday long enough to post a shot and to do some very boring critiques. I am on the mend but very fuzzy headed so, sorry just a very quick visit to say that this is again a wonderful shot in an absolutely brilliant series. Thank you MF! :-)

Hi Luc,
A great shot! Beautiful soft light. Colors and detail in this are perfect. Those darn kids are always so cute!
Scott

*Very big smile*
Thank you, Luc, for your gift... of this photo and all the others. : )
I have come to love this little prince, and the rest of his family.
I, too, have a special compartment in my heart reserved just for them.
And whenever I need to have a moment of pure joy,
I will know exactly where to go.
Thank you, my friend.
And please give my best to your father... and thank him for raising a prince of a son. : )

Hi Luc,
Some very nice images of those young foxes and this one especially. So soft and innocent with a lovely pose and that cute inquisitive face. The true colours nice and simple with the light well balanced throughout despite its difficult position amongst the branches. The DOF just right with the fox nice and sharp.TFS.
