|This is a couple of Aeshna cyanea (Odonata, Aeshnidae). In addition to the macro lens, an Olympus autoextension tube was used.|
NOTE: The image was re-posted following a workshop discussion which brought up that my computer screen settings were 'wrong'. Due to this the original dia-positiive was scanned again and only marginally processed further concerning colours and brightness.

I see a huge difference between this two pictures. This one is much more natural and colours look good.
Apart from that the picture is very interesting. I've never seen mating emperors. Photo has also good details and framing.
