[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A beautiful pink dogwood flower, right after a heavy thunderstorm. I had to take almost thirty pictures of this flower before I got one that was focused nicely. I was using a tripod, but the wind was still blowing pretty hard which made it hard to focus on in macro mode. I think the colors are nice, and I like how the center of the flower is off-center, because it allows you to see more of the flower petals. I also think the raindrops give the picture a nice look.

Increased some colors, auto-levels in photoshop.

Note: When I originally posted this picture, I titled it "Dogwood Flower." I have renamed it "Karen's Flower," in memory of a very young friend of mine who was killed in a car accident.

Very beautiful, with all these water droplets on the flower. Nice sharp details and wonderful colors, well done !

Hi Brain,
Excellent photo with great sharpness color and DOF. The exposure on the different colors and water drops is perfectly controlled. As you mentioned, the composition is perfect and go along with the rule of thirds.
