[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is an example of the younger Jackass penguin with its parent at the Boulders outside Simonstown, near Cape Town. They were given their name because they supposedly make a sound like a donkey braying, though we never heard them make any noise while we visited. Note that the young bird has a coat of fluffy feathers. Many were moulting when we visited, presumably on the edge of adulthood.

Pity that the parent jackass was not looking toward the camera. That would have made a much better shot. However I still think u7 got a good picture . Well done

Good shot and I think you did well. I find penguins not to be the most photogenic subjects.
