Lucy in The Sky With Diamonds

Red Fox Series (seventeenth)

Red Fox (Lucy running in the sunrise)
Vulpes vulpes

This song came to my mind by seeing this missed photograph. Forgive me my audacity.
Taken just as it is this morning at 6:19 at 1/25 seconds, F/3,5, iso 50, during sunrise.

Lucy in The Sky With Diamonds (The Beatles)

Picture yourself in a boat on a river,
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly,
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes.
Cellophane flowers of yellow and green,
Towering over your head.
Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes,
And she’s gone.
Lucy in the sky with diamonds.
Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain
Where rocking horse people eat marshmellow pies,
Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers,
That grow so incredibly high.
Newspaper taxis appear on the shore,
Waiting to take you away.
Climb in the back with your head in the clouds,
And you’re gone.
Lucy in the sky with diamonds,
Picture yourself on a train in a station,
With plasticine porters with looking glass ties,
Suddenly someone is there at the turnstyle,
The girl with the kaleidoscope eyes.

Next time I will have a long story to tell you.
Thank you for looking. Have a good weekend!

Good shot Luc! Somehow, what seems like a missed shot, actually turned out more like a work of art than anything else - I really like it :) The sense of motion is amazing. If I were to make any changes, I think I'd have preferred one stop less exposure - that way the fox might have been just a fraction sharper, and the head might be just a fraction less bright, but it's really excellent as it is though. Strangely I think it's possibly my favourite of your fox shots! Very nicely done :-D

Hi Luc
I thought this series is about mammals, but now I see you've brought in the be(a)tles as well (chuckle). Did you use a yellow submarine to travel to the island this morning?
Lucy really shines like a diamond while she is running free and wild in this very creative/artistic photo. I like it heaps.
This will not be the first, or the last, 'near miss' to turn out to be a winner. Although some might argue the technical merits I think it is perfect just as it is so, well done my friend and TFS.
Best regards.

Lucy Sky Diamonds

I think she's leading you astray Luc, this girl with the kaleidoscope eyes.

It is a fun shot my friend, I hope you weren't running to keep up with her, she's a lot younger than you...

You have a good weekend too!

Hi Luc
Fox in the run. Nice action shot. Good colours and composition.
Well done

Hello my friend.
I¨dont post shot like this, because I know they will be as missunderstood as this one.
Hope my comment on this return to TN, helps me to be as brave as you, to post whatever i like, and not what I think other people will like. But that is difficult, and that is why you are different.
You know you will always have a friend on the distance, that´s me. :)
