[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It was -13 Celcius. (8.6 Fahrenheit)
There was those formations every 20 cm (7.9 inch) along the side of the river. I photograph them all. They were similar in size but not in shape. All were beautiful.
The orange colors in the background are the trees on the other size of the river.
No tripod, but I could just lay the camera on the ice.

Hi JeanMarie,
This shot of the ice crystals is excellent. Very intricate detail you captured. The crystals sparkle well with the light hitting it. Nice shot!
Scott

Gorgeous composition. The crystal shapes are beautiful and the parallel lines make a nice repeating pattern. Great exposion and reflection. Well done.

Hi JeanMarie,
Wow, well seen and captured, they really do look like two dancers. Wonderful forms in the ice, quite amazing to look at. Great shot.
Regards,
Adrian

You know I really like this picture. The small brown dead leaves in the middle of the ice formation makes this more enteresteing. There are some soft spots though near the upper left of the formation, maybe could have shot at F8.

Hi JeanMarie!

Cheers,
Eddie
