This was one of the first pictures I took with my new Nikon D70. Taken in the zoo of Plankendael (part of the Antwerp zoo), it was of course a collaborative victim.

Hi Marcel. What a strange and lovely animal. This might be a good candidate for black and white, since the colors are so muted. I like the tone quality here. COmposition is very effective, with lots of room for this creature to "breathe".

Its very nice Marcel, but what is it? A mongoose? Is this animal a native of your country ? Please, tell us more.

Nikon D70 is a winner definatelly, camera of the year if I remember corectly, your photo is nice too, dont you wish the light was so colaborating as the moongose ?
