Yellowstone's Gibbon Valley is a great location for spotting wildlife, especially this early in the season. I've been a fan of bison but I think this is the first time I has seen their calves. They're just so CUTE! [Gender check!]

Hi Mike,
Nice shot, I love the soft greens and blues of the ground and water and then the excellent contrasts of the browns and oranges. Good detail and nicely framed, the calf seems interested in the bird in the middle.

This reminds me of being in the Himalayas where we would often come across Yaks with their young. Nice shot!
