[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken after a climbing trip to Dewerstone in the Dartmoor National Park on a very wet and foggy day. After an interesting and challenging walk alongside a raging river we decided to climb out of the valley and head upwards where we were met with a carpet of bluebells on the forest floor.
This valley forms the source of the river Plym from high up on Dartmoor which then ultimately comes out at the city of Plymtouth to the south.
This is a magical place and i can't wait to get back there!

This is absolutely beautiful, there are a lot of interesting elements in this picture that captivates me. You had the right idea when you took this shot. Very well done. :)

great composition, but a slightly larger version woudl have improved it...

Wonderful composition - the colours, light and mist all work so well together.

Mist and bluebells always make a magical shot but the gradient of the hill have added something extra. Very well done.

Hi Paul, this is just such a gorgeous work, the soft tones and the velvet moss, you can smell the damp mist and bluebells. Top job! regards Guy

This is really lovely. Don't have much time so thought I would just comment on this one as I have never been able to make bluebell shots work for some reason they just end up looking very boring and washed out! This even seems to have blueish mist - just beautiful!
