I always say that the flowers are really hard subject to photography, at least for me! I think that this beautiful flowers is just blooming! I love the position of the heads down! I feel that some sadness on the photo despite the fresh leafs and flowers! I like the colours also! Framing, pov are great too. But I don't understand that relation with the Indian Chocolate! I can't relate to this flower, but maybe the photographer ;-))

Hmmm, you gave me some courage for posting the flower photo to TN. I have not a flower shot in my gallery.

Splendid image. Soft lighting, shallow DOF and low POV make it a pleasure for the eyes. I also like the color contrast that put a lot of emphasis on the flower. Composiiton is simple but well balanced.

I would categorize this as an artistic composition on your part, Monika.
Excellent perspective and placement of flowers within the frame. The colour of this flower is delightful.
Despite your diffidence(?) about shooting flowers, this is a great image.

Very interesting subject and note. We're both explorers of words' origin :-) Indian Chocolate sounds great, especially in Polish meadow. Very nice, detailed, botanical photo. I love blurred BG made form fresh green grasses. I hope you'll post something similiar from time to time.

Wow, beautiful colours and perfectly exposed. Of all the names I like Indian Chocolate best. Lovely detail and the background is perfect, nice warm green, soft but not completely defocused and interesting lines. Very nice shot, a very pleasing image to look at.

I saw your critique of Greg's 'Monika-esque' picture, did you hurt your hand?
