|RAINBOW AFTER THE STORM|
While on one of our canoe trips on the South Saskatchewan River, we went on a hike one evening. A big thunderstorm blew over us while we reached the crest of the hill. We had to hide for a short time to get out of the rain and lightening. After the storm passed, and the rain stopped, little chorus frogs came out everwhere. They were so happy to get some moisture. Then the rainbow appeared, telling us the storm was gone.

At least you weren't on the river when the storm hit. Nothing like realizing you are in an aluminum canoe, on water, with lightening striking. One learns to scramble ashore quickly! I'm jealous of all your canoeing destinations. I like the colors in your photo. The foreground is nice with the after storm lighting. I am not sure why the sky is so bright in the center when the sun was behind you??? There is quite a lot of noise also visible in the sky.

Nice colors and composition.
Looks like you were treated to a double rainbow! This appears to be a bit of a tricky shot exposure-wise, as the sky looks to be a fair bit brighter than the FG land features.
The sky does look to be a bit washed out. Are you able to use a polarizing filter on your camera? If so, that would really help with the sky.
Very nice landscape with a weak low rainbow. I like the grasps and rocks in front, but sky is not very clear in details. I spite of all a good job.
Nice rainbow shot. I like the play of light in the grass/weed in the foreground.
What a GREAT capture. You siezed the moment; and,
Did you register a frog or two?
Love the foreground and the BG too. Excellect clarity
