[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
During a 12 day terrible bushfire most of the eucalypt forest of the northern Grampians NP was burnt to ashes end of February 2006.
After some rainshowers mid of April most of the trees show a Colourfull Come Back with fresh leafs bursting out from dark coal like trunks.

Very well seen occurance, Thomas.
The beauty of these fresh colourful leaves reborn from the ashes stands out well against the coal black trunk of the massive tree.

A beautiful symbol of hope and renewal you have captured.
Forest fires can be so devastating, even though they say it is natural.
Every summer we have a number of serious forest fires in California.
Anyway that is a lovely composition, with sharp details and wonderful colors.
I hope your eucalyptus forest will come back in due time.
