[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I misunderstood this insect as grasshopper. Just recently that I found out that it is leafhopper. But still unsuccessful in indentifying the exact species. The color of this species, particularly this one is a bit dull.

Class: Insecta
Order: Hemiptera
Family: Cicadellidae (Latreille,1802)

Leafhopper is a common name applied to species from the family Cicadellidae.

Leafhoppers are one of the largest families of plant-feeding insects. There are more leafhopper species worldwide than all species of birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians combined. Leafhoppers feed by sucking the sap of vascular plants, and are found almost anywhere such plants occur, from tropical rainforests, to arctic tundra. Several leafhopper species are important agricultural pests.

I am unable to identify the exact species of this leafhopper as lack of photos to compare. It may be one of the two species that found in this area.

A wonderful image from you as usual, JC.
Yes, it looks like a grasshopper to me too.
Must be close cousin though since it also "hops" something -- leaves in this case.
Very sharp and beautiful image.
TFS.

Hello Jitti!
Yes, this is a leafhopper! But I haven't seen any red leafhopper until now. It should be so tiny, but you managed this shot perfectly! Great eyes and face details also! Interesting pose also! Congratulations!
