[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a Papilio Anchisiades - not a Parides Iphidamas like i first mentioned, thanks to Walhalla15 for correcting this.

Should i admit it ? I've shot this one in a Tropical Butterflies Garden near Paris (for those who are interested, it's in Jardinerie Poullain, la Queue lez Yvelines)... A good place to take pictures as long as you don't visit it in the same time as 50 children of an elementary school :-).

I used a MT 24 ex twin flash and (i think) a Velbon monopod.

Very nice capture,I like the BG it makes this butterfly stand out. Maybe slightly soft on left wing. Great shot anyway. How long did it take for the condensation to go from your lense in the tropical garden.

very interesting butterfly Jerome TFS.

bonjour jerome
un beau specimen avec de belles couleurs ,le BG est bien mais le papillon est un peu flou,j'ai accentué cela dans la WS.

Hi Jerome,
that's nice, I posted the same butterfly today without knowing that you also have one here.
I wrote another name into the note, so we are both not sure which one of us is right, but no matter, the shot must be good.
I like yours, at some parts of the wing the focus could be a little better.
Thanks for sharing

The POV and compostion are very nice and the colours are lovely.

Hermosa macro Jerome... realmente.
Los detalles de la mariposa, sobre todo en sus alas con las venosidades tan marcadas son maravillosos.
El DOF es algo ajustado (no lo informas) aunque efectivo para brindar una profundidad adecuada.
Excelente trasfondo y encuadre.
Saludos... Ricardo

Beautiful macro Jerome... really.
The details of the butterfly, mainly in their wings with those so marked venosity is wonderful.
DOF is something adjusted (you don't inform it) although effective for to offer an appropriate depth.
Excellent background and framing.
Greetings... Ricardo
