Ce n'est pas facile de réussir une telle photo avec une si grande variété de verts.
Selon moi, qui n'est pas un expert, vous avez bien calculé la lumière. Photo très intéressante de par sa nature, son sujet et la note qui l'accompagne. Merci.

It seems to me that this was a rather difficult shot to take. The light seeping through the foliage of the trees makes for some very bright spots interspersed with rather darkish shady areas. I'm not sure how much control you have over your cameras settings, but I think that a soft fill-in flash with some smaller aperture could have overcome the complications in the exposure. However, that might have rendered the image slightly flat again. So, I think under the given circumstances you actually did very well.
The composition with this bulk of greens is also a bit of a problem. I reckon you must have spend quite a while trying to figure out what POV you should approach. Showing a little bit of the rocks on which the moss anchored was great and one can clearly see how the moss fulfils a primary function by assisting other vegetation to germinate.
Overall I think it was a good effort and TFS.

The many shades of vivid green look excellent here. I agree with Loot that this was a difficult shot due to the broad range of light. But It looks very natural with the filtered sunlight. Looks like lush green carpet. Hoping for an Oilers miracle!

I've tried to photo moss so many times and never come up with somethign I was happy with, so when I saw yours I was quite envious that you have managed to photo it so sucessfully.
The rocks showing at the bottom of the picture is an inspired move. and the range of greens is excellent.

Ohh a moss shot! I love the little plants poking their way out of it too. The shadows add to the depth and provide some contrast to the shot. The rocks protruding from the mossy edge was a good call too.

The moss is soooo well captured! Beautiful exposure in spite of the difficult lighting with small shady parts...
I like the textures and the details, colours are also very attractive!

I fully agree with Loot and Emma. I've tried moss myself, and had lots of OE spots by the difficult sunlight. You did an excellent job and the composition you've created is outstanding.
