what an amazing sky you have managed there. it is really effective in B&W. Having been there I know how small this set of stones are and you have managed to make them look huge... but it is so effective and what a sky.

Hi Stephen,
This is fantastic. Using B&W really makes this image more powerful.
Good detail and sharpness. exposure and lighting are good. Good POV and composition.
The only thing I'm not keen on is the phone lines on the LHS, I think it would be better if they were cloned out.
Thanks for posting, Have a great weekend.

Hi Stephen,
This is a geat B&W picture. Here again the intellignet use of a wide angle gives an accentuated perspective that render a lot of drama. The elevated contrast and the burning of sky's highlight really improve overall appearance. We can feel the excllent control of PP render you image an Ansel Adams style.
Excellent work that deserve a lot more than 2 points. TFS.

Another great B&W. I think you deserve to be an honorary member of the old f/64 group (Ansel Adams, Imogen Cunningham & Edward Weston)!

Wow, this is fantastic. I think you've captured a whole lot of atmosphere and a real sense of something very different to the normal landscapes we see everyday. There is a sense of power to this for sure, I can't say you've achieved what you wanted as I've never been there but I'd say you've captured something very special with this shot. The B&W is perfect and the sky is just awe-inspiring. Very strong composition and the POV ius perfect. Just a superb shot.
Cheers,
Adrian

Wow!! a powerful shot for a power place. the Tibetans would say, a 'bayuul' a power place. The sky is absolutely perfect, but......I agree with you, it's one of those frustrating things.....I feel that the rocks should be just a bit more to the left, but that would make the top left of the top rock out of place, so....maybe a lower POV? I don't know. A fabulous photograph. I want to call Air Canada right now and go there. If I ever get to Ireland, I'm coming to this place. It really speaks to me. Thank-you for sharing. This is an important image.

Wouahou! Superbe!
Le choix de la pose longue est vraiment très judicieux. Le Dolmen apparait inébranlable face au temps qui passe. Mais aussi le choix du B&W et celui d'un tel contrast. Bref. Une très belle photo. Meci beaucoup de nous l'avoir montré. :)
