[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

This is the result of a close encounter with a big cat (probably lion). This zebra was really lucky, now he can tell us his bad meeting showing us his ass.
But that's wild Africa, somebody have to die to make live somebody else.
Dear zebra keep your eyes wide open tonight, lions are more hungry than the last night...

Bella foto Andrea, si notano bene i dettagli della ferita, in primo piano, che sta rimarginando.

Hi Andrea,
A good shot showing us the other side of life in the wild. Good details and colours, excellent job on the scan.

You got really close to this badly mauled zebra, Andrea. The wounds look nasty and raw. Hopefully the poor fellow heals soon.
Good documentary image.
Thanks for sharing it.

Excellent detail shown in the pic. The sharpness, Lighting, POV and an interesting subject makes a great pic. TFS,

Hi Andrea,
WOW! very lucky indeed. A good lesson on how delicate the balance of life is in the bush. Nice colors and detail. Well shown. The photo really tells a good story!

Ha ha ha! Great note! and great advice to this lucky zebra! It's very interesting that despite these intense wounds, it is still living, i wonder how did it escape! Maybe just intense kicking with back legs to the wild and unlucky cat :-) Very interesting post that wonderfully taken!

Hi Andrea,
Gee, I never thought I'd be amused to look at a picture of a zebra's backside. But I am. Wonderful detail here that tells a great story (even without your note, though I think the note enhances it).

HI Andrea, great detail shot, love this kind of images!!!
