Mom takes care of me
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
She’s a hummingbird, and she's taking care of her little sons.
Shooting this was quite difficult, due to bad light conditions. Getting focus was hard, and I had to use flash, for the nest is well hidden among the leaves.
Eduardo, a friend of mine, took a ladder and I tried to shoot the offspring (I could see two siblings; the worried mom was around all the time), but that wasn’t possible: I got no focus at all, even after trying several settings in the camera.
It’s summer here in Brazil. Despite that, in the region where I live, things are often rainy and the weather is frequently cloudy. As soon as a sunny day comes out, I’ll try to shoot the little creatures in the nest. |

Nice one Livio. Great detail in the shot. I hope you come right and get a shot of the babies, looking forward to it.
What species of Humming bird?
Excelent capture. Maybe some cropping. Well done on the shot. I did a workshop. hope you like it.

Boa macro. Nunca consegui pegar um ninho... Eh.. Eh...
Boa foto.
Abraço
