SPANGLED DRONGO - Dicrurus bracteatus
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This is the Spangled Drongo - Dicrurus bracteatus.|
These birds have glossy black plumage, with iridescent blue-green spots, also known as spangles, hence the name, and blood red eyes. They measure 28cm - 33cm in size.
The long, forked 'fish' tail is characteristic, and allows the Spangled Drongo to be distinguished from other black birds similar in size.

Good detail of the dark subject. The bright lighting around always makes it more difficult etc. I may have preferred to have more space at the head and tail but that is a personal choice. TFS,
Nice black bird with wonderful red eyes. Great composition and pov. TFS
