[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was my first view of the Teton range after leaving Yellowstone NP. I was impressed with the range rising up from the flat prarie showing the forces of nature perfectly. Here you see peaks like Grand Teton, Mt. Owen, Nez Perce, Mt. Moran and South Teton. Later on in this series of Grand Teton NP I post some closer shots of these mountains and hopefully show you the beauty of it.

Hi Niek,
This is a very nice view. The colours are fantastic, excellent detail and sharpness.
The exposure has been handled very well.
Nice composition. Thanks for posting.
Have a great end to the week.

you have left me with the feeling that I need to walk around the bush to get a better view of those wonderful mountains in the distance.

you really have that CP filter worked out very well now, the sky is amazing and the colours are really good. and snow... you really have left me wanting to go there to see them in real life.

Was this one RAW yet?

thank you.

What a fabulous horizon. I can't wait to see the mountains closer. I like the bushes in the foreground. The colours are wonderful

Hello niek, excllent colors, bg, POV DOf perfect details, very crisp, Nice work, TFs Kyle

Those are some amazing mountains, Niek! I really like the solid blue sky (only partly because of the polarizing filter) and the green grass. Great exposure (snow is hard!) and color treatment in the PP. But I agree with Emma about this bush. Maybe if there were a bit more at the bottom it could be a foreground, otherwise, just the middle and background is enough for these beautiful tetons.
P.S. You were 8 days ahead of Evelynn!

Ah very nice photo Neik. Quite a variety of landscape and color tones in this photo, but I wonder if the FG sage is a bit too much of a dominant part of the photo.

hello Niek
Tes images sont très belles
celle ci est remarquable par sa netteté et ses couleurs
les couleurs et les contrastes sont remarquables.
bravo et Merci....JP

Hi Niek,

You beat me posting a shot of the whole range. I sent you my version. You have nice color saturation here and good DOF. I sort of agree about the foreground bushes. I think something with a more definite shape might have been more effective or nothing at all.
It is a nice photo though of one of my favorite places.

Thanks for sharing.

Evelynn : )

Hi Niek,
Beautiful colors and framing... almost a panoramic shot.
Well done.

Hi Niek,
A lovely landscape composition!
Awesome mountains in a distance, and I like a lot how you present them here...
Good foreground interest and fine natural colours, and I'm looking forward to more interesting images from Tetonas!
