A longing gaze

|Before my commentary, can someone please advise if this photo is appropriate to be posted on TrekNature rather than TrekEarth. I noted the "serious" nature photo comment in the upload information... serious meaning?|
A rainy day at Auckland Zoo presented an amazing opportunity to capture one of the beautiful cheetahs up close. I did use a polarising filter to cut out some of the reflection in the thick glass. I have also 'warmed up' the tones, as I find my 300D tends to take very cool toned photos.
While I had several 'full face' photos, I thought this really captured both the beauty of the face and fur colours as well as the 'locked on' gaze [which incidently was on a small child in a pram!].
