[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This eveningpicture from a very silent lake in Gotland,Sweden. I especially like the mirrorreflection of the clouds in the water. Too bad the rocks in the water look so black and dark. Is there something I could have done to prevent it?

Hoi Geert,
Zo te zien aan je naam kun je Nederlands. Een super mooie foto met zo'n ongelovelijk mooie reflectie. Bijna geen rimpeltje te herkennen. Je kleuren zijn perfect en zo is je compositie. Al loopt de horizon ietjes scheef. MBT de donkere stenen: Je foto neemt een gemiddelde belichting en kan daarom niet en de wolken en de stenen goed belichten. Beste oplossing is het meten van de midden toon.

It's a lovely scene. I think that the dark rocks look OK as they are.
I would have got a lot nearer to the rocks, got right down near the surface of the water and tried a shot like this one with a fairly wide focal length. It's amazing how a different POV can improve a scene.

I about flipped when I saw the miniture for your photo... It rang such a bell!

As to the black rocks, what time of day was it?
In the evening it is harder I find than in at dawn. Also if you can get a bit of "sideways" light on 'em by changing your PoV, that could help.
