Hi Otto,
I like the sunlight shining on the mountains and the piece of wood in the front. It all gives it a very pleasant view. You might want to download Neat Image to reduce the noise on your scanned photos.
TFS,
Niek

Nice photo, but as Niek says you are picking up a lot of noise from your scanning.

If you increase the resolution you scan at, you will get less noise in the end result photo when you have resized it.

Otheriwse it is a nice view and a good composition.

Bonjour Otto
Une excellente photo de ce beau paysage ,les couleurs sont justes et parfaitements exposées ainsi que les détails.. Félicitations pour la belle composition.

Merci et bravo...JP

Hi Otto,

very inviting quiet and remote landscape! There is a beautiful gentle atmosphere in this lake - with the driftwood creating an intesting foreground. Lovely natural colours, and good details for the fact that you had to scan the picture from a print. Thank you!
Best regards,
Peter

P.S.: We are always having the odds against us when we have to scan a print or slide for web presentation. I tried it quite often, and I still do, sometimes. To obtain a good results from the scan, my experience told me to scan large size prints only - preferably full size letter dimension, and even there, scanning with high resolution of at least 300dpi is to be recommended, even if we plan to downsize the scan for web presentation only.
