To a Friend - Congratulations
This is a beautiful shot. So glad you could stop and capture it. I hope your husband was not TOO unhappy about the delay. The landscape, sky and clouds together make a totally great shot. Congratulations to your friend.

The view is fantastic, with lovely colours, good lighting and exposure. Well composed, good framing and notes.
Thanks for posting, enjoy the rest of the week.
And congratulations to your friend on achieving the A level grades needed to get to her first choice uni.

This is beautiful... some times lesser details is better!
Well composed and the slightly fading mountains really set the mood...
Wonderful colours well captured!
it is a beautiful photo...but the story did you get to the ferry on time?? :o)
Love it..thanks for stopping!
Very beautiful, Emma. The exposure is excellent and the composition has made the most of the scene. Great note, too.
You live down South yet you've had at least 2 trips to Scotland this year. I guess it's a favourite place for you, right?

Hello Emma, excellent colors, Bg, POV DOF perfect colors and a lovly view, Make me wont to be their, TFS Kyle
Hi Emma, or should I call you Ms. Speedy, driving 60mph on back roads...think about the polution :)
Great photo with a perfect land, water, clear sky and clouds division. A definite photo opp, what ever comes next, even if it would end up staying a night at the harbor the catch next days ferry. I like tey way the islands fade away into the orange glow. The subtle sun rays add an extra touch especially where they hit the water. I'm twisiting my mind about the bright part where the sun was. It might be my monitor at work, but it feels a little too bright. What do you think, -1EV or a grad ND? (just thinking out loud and trying to learn from the expert.

This is a lovely picture. I love the tranguille atmosphere it breathes and the lovely orange colors are really pleasing. The clouds are amazing. Well composed too. Well done & TFS!
