Great close up image, with the zoom and nature you are very skilled. The exposure is good, but there is a bit of haze on the bird, probably because of the distance away it was and the 2X teleconverter. I've done a workshop to see if this could be brought out a bit more

Your captain Hook is truly beautiful, I don't understand why you're putting him down like that - after all he's just a man looking for his supper. What you call meanness, I call determination ;-))
Beautiful colours (the flash really brightened things up), good POV, clean bg, it's all there ;-))

A nice capture of this Heron. The light and detail on the bird are excellent. I am amazed that the water in the backround looks like that using such a fast shutter speed.
