[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a picture I took on the train to Bergen. It must be in the neighbourhood of Gol, a place that lies +- 1200m above sealevel.
It's really astonishing! Nature really is untouched up there. You can see the ice from the glacier and the poor vegetation around it. Nevertheless the green-brown colours are fantastic!
This picture is not that good as it is taken trough a window. But hopefully it gives a good image of how it is up there.

I like this shot wih its tones of grey! An example of the expanses of wilderness still left in Scandinavia. But it's also very sad to hear that the glaciers are melting due to the greenhouse effect. Keep this pic as a record of how things once were!! Good shot despite the window!

Hoi Geert,
Als dit door glas genomen is, dan moet de echte kleuren wel super mooi zijn. Knap dat je nog zulk goed detail hebt kunnen krijgen. Dit ziet er uit als een prachtig onaangetast stuk natuur.

Mooie plaat Geert! Noorwegen is mooi he? De belichting (die in dit geval toch heel tricky geweest moet zijn) heb je goed aangepakt. Mooie compositie ook.

Hello Geert, You must have cleaned that window before you took the shot? It came out clear, quite sharp and good colours. Nice reflection of the ice in the water as well.
