[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
FRom Grizzly Lake in the Tombstone Range, we climbed 1500 vertical feet up and over Glissade Pass, then down to the North Klondike Valley drainage and into the core recreational area of Tombstone Territorial Park.
As we were hiking down from Glissade Pass, we came across this interesting creek with quite a bit of some sort of white deposits on the rocks, like calcite.
The combination of the whitish creek with the surrounding landscape and sky made for a great photo opportunity.
This photo is looking towards the North Klondike River and valley in the distance.

What a GRAND photo.
The composition is simply FAR OUT.The colours & the
capture of the lights just boggles the mind... it is BREATH TAKING.
Wish I was there with you on this wonderful piece of our great mother EARTH.
Best regards,

Hi Tim

Lovely long, low POV. Great array of colour. Nicely composed with good light. TFS

A nice compo with a great light.
Lovely landscape and well managed shot!

Hello Tim,
The naked Alaskan landscape is well framed here!
I like your point of view in the middle of the stream, and the way light plays with the mountain side...
Well composed presentation, good colours & details!

Hi Tim,
These rocks look really interesting, not only for the white deposite, but also for it shapes. Normally you see much rounder shapes. The view is again really beautiful and the sun helped you again to emphazise some parts of the photo even more.

Hi Tim,

Wonderful shot - the beautiful big sky and dappled sun colours on the mountain really make this photo work.
Great composition balancing the creek and the mountains, and great detail!
