[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Florida Bay at the Southernmost point of the Florida Mainland is a treasure trove for fishing and for lovers of wildlife. I went out with fellow photographer Pat Ford who is also an expert angler and author of fly fishing books. The osprey love to perch and nest on channel markers along the bay, so it is relatively easy to spot these. Furthermore, the osprey are not very skittish thereby allowing you to get close from a boat. This shot was taken from a flats boat. It is full frame.

Great shot, Clear focus on the eye. Wonderful details.

How do you can be so close from an Osprey?

Hi Michel

Looks like this guy is getting ready to fly. He looks crouched down eyeing up his prey. Love the intense expression. Well captured. YFS.
