[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Alytes obstetricans (Midwife toad), became a victim in the Netherlands of the untamed human need to organise. Once common in the hilly southern part of the country, now threatened because of a lack of hiding places round farms where concrete, and metal sheds rule. The species is now restricted to sites where other human activities were conducted: the Marl pits. Luckily it seems quite happy there and hopefully it can make the step back to the countrysite.

Magnificent close-up of this very beautiful toad. Too bad we don't have this little beauty in my country...
It's eyes resemble the ones from Pelobates with those great vertical pupils - nicely captured!
The details are super, the colors lovely and the light perfect.
Very ewll done!

This is an excellent profile of this little fellow :) Details are really amazing, very clear and sharp in a good composition. It has special eye that I never have seen before. This is well done with excellent notes about this fragile specie. A little noise could be fixed with Neat Image I guess. TSF,
