Good sharpness on the white butterfly and purple flower. It seems light was very intense at time picture was captured.

C'est un Aporia crataegi (Linnaeus, 1758), en anglais "Black-veined white"
En effet sa duree de vie est tres courte
Belle photo, le cadrage est bon mais l'esposition me semble un peu forte
belle couleur avec ce chardon dommage pour le caillou en fond j'aurais prefere l'herbe seche mais bon !!

Hi Edith,
It's a great shot with a beautiful composition and a very nice POV! But a think in my opinion that the photo have too much light... I made a few changes to improve the photo, you can see this in the workshop.
Anyway, still a great photo!

Hello Edith, your white butterfly on the thistle does look good. If you cropped closer around it before resizing it would look even better. Still, it is nice and sharp, good colours too. TFS

oui c'est vrai que les sujets blans sont souvent surexposés,c'est un peu le cas ici.
pour le prochain essai avec une vitesse superieur(de plus tu risqueras moins d'avoir du flou.
pour l'espece regarde une fois de plus sur ce site je c'est un gazé.

Il est bien beau ce papillon dans ce superbe environnement! Les détails sont très nets et j'aime beaucoup cette composition. Il semble que la lumière était très forte ce jour là mais la photo demeure très bonne! Félicitations!
