[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Winter in Montreal can provide magnificient sceneries. That day when I took the picture, it was minus 27 degrees and windy. The picture was taken along the river St Laurent at sun set. Generally when the temperature is very cold it is also sunny. But it requires to spend a while out door in this wind and even if we are well equiped, with gloves, it is not so easy to manipulate the camera. |

Brrr....it looks so cold! The view of these windblown grasses is very pleasant. I love the warm looking sun peeking through, evidently not providing much warmth. I can almost hear the wind blowing. Sharp, clear, pleasing scene.

The thumbnail looked interesting, and this looks even better Francois. Lovely winter scene - definitely looks cold. Great compo with the sun shining throught the grasses. Very well done.
I love this landscape! It let me relax and make me a little nostalgic :-) But I really like it... great shot!
Great shot, colours and POV.
I would crop the bottom to have a panoramic.
TFS.
Beautiful but I agree with netfalls for the pano. Well done!
