Wow, what a sky! It's great, but would have preferred maybe just a little more of that lovely red arid land in view just to balance it out. Personally I feel that an maybe an 1.5 cms off the top and 1.5cms added to the bottom would have just about balanced this out without losing any impact.

I disagree with Pesky_Polecat. The sky is the subject in this picture and I think it was a good thing to include way more sky than ground. Great picture. What an unbelievable threathening sky!

Don, I can only see a breathtaking photo here... I can feel the strength of nature and this humbles me...

Gorgeous landscape Don, very powerful - I can almost feel the storm coming. Very good work.

Good lanscape, great colours. It would have been a great panoramic.
Well done.

Fantastic sky and cloud formation. As you say that rainbows followed I assume that there were some rain showers in the area and that you have photographed the underside of a Cumulonimbus cloud with some severe internal updraughts within the cloud to create the unusual patterns within the cloud. Excellent image of a meteorological variation.

Featured photo today: I'm glad I saw it! I love the drama in the clouds and their diagonal lines. Super work, Don.

Es una gran toma, me parece equilibrada la composición y el contraste del color sepia con el gris del cielo es fabuloso.

Hi Don,

Amazing landscape and clouds...
Very well done!!!

TFS :-)
