Very nice composition and colours on this shot Livio. Detail on the wing is excellent revealing the furry texture. Either that fly is very small or the butterfly huge. Great post.

Good shot!
I like the composition and POV. And again colours are very nice, but these flowers are so colourful that they gets too much attention and make the butterfly so inconspicuous. Maybe you should change the title for "Christmas Lantana" ;-)

Ainda lembro a "hoverfly" que publicaches bebendo nunha destas flores, a tenho nos meus favouritos. Ista tamben e unha foto moi "xeitosa". Quizais un pouquiño suave na punta das alas, mais nada serio. Poderias facer unha colección. Saudos.

Yummie colors on the flowers and I like the fact that this butterfly is rather plain so there is no competition between the flowers and the lep. I do think the lep's wing's are a bit soft as it looks like the lantana was what you focused on. On the whole it is a good image.

Another macro Livio with good contrast between the unknown butterfly and the lantana flowers. The blurred background is good and F8 allows you to capture all the butterflies detail.
