Second Try: Any Better?
I see the differences, and it looks much better. The other one was already beautiful, but this feels better. The shaded area in the center is more equal. I like the strong shade in the front pushing me toward Mt. Rainier. I also noticed you got a slightly different crop on the right, showing a little more of the tree. Still a really stunning sight.

Not better Evelynn Smith, I think so.
In this pic, some detail was lost at bottom of pic and more blured than previous.

This one is very nice as the previous version.I liked POV,sharpness, framing and composition a lot.
This is a nicely composed image, Evelynn. Great details. I like the additional lightness in the grass in this version. Like a couple of your previous posts it feels a bit tight (though I'm probably just getting used to a 10mm), but I like the distance compression you get here. I wonder if squatting a bit lower would have pushed the trees up a bit and into the glacier and made this just a skosh more dramatic than it already is (pushing the compression even further).
P.S. Why not a "repost?"

Hi Evelynn, yes this is a great landscape photo.
Very well done and thanks for sharing.
I like them both Evelynn, but I think the original was a bit better; had a bit more DOF to it.
This is my 1000th critique and it's for you. :)
A interesting view of this glacier. The lighting is dramatic with the mist flowing over the hill. The shadows give a nice contrast the golden colour of the grass. Your photo has nice flow to it, with the mountains in the background, the glacier in the middle and the evergreen is the foreground.

Yes, this is much better. : )
Wow... very dramatic, Evelynn.
I like the changing light on the different planes,
and the diagonals going every which way.
Lots to look at.
TFS this beautiful scene. : )

I like the shot. But I liked the first one too.

Another cracking shot Evelynn. I really like your square framing here. The lighting is extraordinary - hard enough to get some good contrast, but soft enough to preserve the details in the shadows as well as the sunlit areas. Superb! And yes it is better than previous version, less artifacts.

I often feel like marking all of your photos as Favorites.
They are truely: O>U>T>S>T>A>N>D>I>N>G>, ALL OF THEM.
May you live long sharing your work with the world.
