[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi everybody
I found this little felow yesterday. When I was searching for some information about it ,I found an intresiting historical note about it :

Five-striped Palm-squirrel:
Very common and tame in villages.
This is the species of squirrel which Rama thanked for helping the monkeys to build the bridge/causeway to Lanka when he was rescuing Sita from Ravana.
The stripes were left when he stroked one of them, and have been there ever since!

Well this time instead of Scientific note I tried something new hope you like it.

Hi Behrad, this is a beautiful photo of such a sweet creature. I love the lighting and the whole composition of the squirrel. Perhaps it would be an idea to remove the shadows on the white background on the right as they are a bit distracting and spoil your shot.

I'm trying to figure out how you got that plain white OE area on the entire left side of this picture, Behrad.
Not that it unduly bothers me; I like the squirrel alright. They are such restless frisky creatures, but you got it when it must have stood still.
Your mythological story about the stripes on the back of the squirrel might sound interesting to some of us on TN.
TFS and bye.

Hi Behard,
Yes, I like these notes, they are really interesting. This is a nice picture with good details and lightning on this specie of squirrel that I didn't know about. I like the pose you caught and this composition. This BG is a little distracting and I'm sure that you know about it but sometimes, we cannot have everything ;) TFS,
Claudine

Qu' il est beau, bien vu et rapide pour l' avoir pris, Merci Thomas
