Spreading: Bali, Java, Sumatra and Malaysian peninsula up to the extreme south of Thailand.

Description: Size approx. 11 cm. Back, wing, chest and ventral sides kastanienbraun. Bürzel, upper tail covers and seams of the dark-brown tail feathers/springs yellowish red-brown. Unterschwanzdecken and belly center black. Bill bluish gray, eyes and eyelid rings black, feet slate-grey. Females have more grey-white to yellowish white head plumage and are generally somewhat pale and more matte in the colors.

Looks like a ghost with this unusual colors. Very interesting species and nice, sharp capture.
