|This picture was taken in Ranganathittu Bird santuary, on Boat. it was an early morning and this Pond heron, also called as paddy bird was resting on this perch and the lighting was very nice.I used my oldy Tokina-ATX 100-300mm lens.|

good framing against the deep blue B/G,
Yet another great shot. How did you achieve the halo effect. Or is the darkening around the corners on account of Vignetting.
Very nice view point and excellent pose, shows the bird well. Very inspiring picture.
