Nice in flight shot. You managed to freeze the head well.

lorsque l'on en tient une comme celle-ci on est pressé de la publier.la netteté sur le corps est tres bonne et on a bien le mouvement des ailes.les couleurs sont bonnes.bravo.
Hi Mike and Hi Gert, hope you fell better.
The frame is good but we see a lot of the PP works.
There's an eccesive use of the noise reducer (NeatImage?) and of the sharpness tool.

Great shot..love it.
You can actually see Gert's signature in it.
Tried his method myself a few days ago...unfortunately it was a rainy day with a few mallards; not in the mood to fly.
It is soft here;but it is a good softness. Great!

Bonjour Mike, it's a great shot!! can't be done better!! amazing timing and perfect details on the head associated with a fluttering on the wings. In my favorit list. Best regards, Didier.

Long time no see, still posting great shots though.
I used to post lots of duck shots but I always found it hard to post a stunning action shot, like this.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Mike! Super job, contrast is superb! Love the vibrant colours and the little droplets of water on his head. Everything suggests speed and motion--great!
thanks for the dedication, I'm honoured.
It's a beautiful picture with lovely warm colours.
The head is very sharp and the rest in nice motion blur. The drake is well seen from the nice BG, good used of the DOF.
How is it in London, not longing for Tehkummah ?
And how is your back ? Well I hope.
Have a great weekend, my friend.

yes you doing a great job meeting Gerts standard. This inflight shot is fabulous. Love the motion blur and the beautiful details.
Very nice work.
Nice in-flight photo. Great timing and eye contact. You did not say what shutter speed you used. I am wondering if a faster shutter speed would freeze the wing action. I think the composition is outstanding. I have been trying to get an in-flight shot for weeks, but I have nothing this good.

Very nice capture with movement present in the wings while the body is frozen, very much the signature of Gert. Very good composition also Mike. Don't think Iv ever posted my flying Mallard shot on TN. Must start posting more wildlife in my gallery like I started with on TN. Very well done..
